Finally in the Arte em Peças display we get Luis Baixinho's Amon Hen. I hope these builders go on to build scenes from the Two Towers and Return of the King.

Across the Anduin
Following along the Arte em Peças display, I've already noted Luis Baixinho's Bridge of Khazad-dûm and Mirror of Galadriel, so next we have Sam and Frodo by ?.

Prancing Pony
Back to the Arte em Peças display, I've previously blogged Naneto's Long Expected Party and Luis' Buckleberry Ferry, so the next stop for our heroes is the Prancing Pony by Naneto.

Azog
Supposedly a LEGO designer has confirmed that the Azog fig will be included in a future set, though in a different color than the Comic-Con exclusive. Here are some Azog customs:

Lake-town Chase, Azog
Yesterday LEGO revealed the upcoming set Lake-town Chase. It will come out in December and cost US$50. In a video they say that there will be five sets for the Desolation of Smaug. I'm assuming that this is in addition to the Spiders and Barrel Escape sets that have already come out. Also in that video you can see that this set is mostly normal brown - the color balance seems off in the set photo. In other news, I suppose I should spend a moment on the exclusive Azog fig. On second thought I think that this will have to be included in an upcoming set. The fig includes two new molds, and there's no way they would do that just for a promotional giveaway. Perhaps the fig that comes out in some future set will have a different torso print, and it will certainly not have the Comic-Con packaging, but I'm sure we'll get an Azog sooner or later.

You shall not pass
Squirrel edition by Automaton Pictures. Oh, in other news, there's a really cool fig at Comic-Con that you can't get.

San Diego Comic-Con exclusive
It looks like this microscale Bag End is exclusively available to Comic-Con attendees. On ComicBricks I complained about exclusives, as they are pretty much impossible to get without paying outrageous prices on ebay, but this one doesn't bother me. The Bilbo fig is available in two sets already, and I think the micro Bag End could be reasonably approximated with most people's existing collections. So the only people who really need this set are completist collectors.

Citadel of Minas Tirith
Members of the Czech group Kotsky.org are putting on a massive display that will be up for the next couple of months. If you are anywhere in central Europe you should try to check it out. There are a ton of amazing castles and other MOCs, but the reason for being on this blog is this huge Citadel of Minas Tirith.

The Argonath of Liberty
I didn't see this a couple of days ago, but for the Fourth of July, Automaton Pictures posted The Argonath of Liberty .
